Agawam Hospitality Group is a limited liability company registered in the State of New York in March 2016. The LLC was created by its four General Partners to entitle and develop Wildwyck River Camp.
Rafe founded Station restaurant in New York’s Hamptons in 2012; a much-acclaimed seasonal eatery that Vogue described as ‘an easygoing approach to fine dining’. He previously worked in the U.A.E., having co-founded a consultancy advising the Abu Dhabi government on hospitality and infrastructure projects. Prior to this, he managed a contemporary art gallery in Dubai. Following graduation from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) in 2007, Rafe initially worked in Italy in architectural restoration.
For the past three years, Adam has been the Managing Director of Friedman Equities, his family’s NYC-based management and development company. Over the course of his 9 years in commercial real estate, he has taken part in the purchase, financing, management, development and disposition of a diverse range of properties. These include the purchase and disposition of the Sea Oaks development in Vero Beach, FL (a single family and multi-family property); the purchase and disposition of the Gucci Building on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA (retail) while maintaining a carried interest in the property; the ground-up development and entitlement of a Starwood managed resort, the A-loft Hotel, on Collins Ave in South Beach, FL (opened June 2015); and the entitlement and development of a 5+ acre property to operate as a Rosewood Hotel in Palm Desert, CA (est. completion 2nd quarter 2017).
Albert has nine years real estate experience and is currently a VP of asset management and acquisitions with Stonemar Properties, a small operator that is capitalized by large private equity firms such as Apollo Global Management and Iron Point Partners (Robert Bass family). Albert is directly responsible for overseeing the management of the existing portfolio (9 shopping centers totaling 2MM SF) and underwriting and closing new acquisitions. The most recent acquisition was a $75MM shopping center in Grand Rapids, MI and he is currently closing a $50MM acquisition in Detroit (which will include $15MM in capital improvements). Previously he worked for an NYC based firm where he was responsible for the direct hands-on property management of 5 apartment buildings and 5 shopping centers.
Owen is currently a senior physicist at Winthrop-University Hospital managing and overseeing cutting edge radiation-based cancer treatments. He recently spearheaded the business plan and site design of the Manhattan NYCyberKnife Center (opened October 2014), a state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility on the Upper West Side. Owen has also personally purchased and sold multi-family and commercial office properties in the North West and North East.
